Refunds and Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to purchases from LingoWp, operated by Mohamed Amine SAYAGH. It supplements the Terms of Service and Sale and does not limit mandatory legal rights.

1. Commercial refunds

There is no word-use threshold for the first-subscription refund offer. Statutory rights may also apply to renewals or used word packs. Unused monthly allowance does not roll over or by itself create a right to a partial refund. Payments made directly to your BYOK provider are separate and are not refunded by LingoWp.

2. Requesting a refund or withdrawal

Email contact@masayagh.com identifying the purchase and the purchasing account’s email. Include the purchase date and a transaction or subscription reference if available. No reason is required for the first-subscription offer or a statutory withdrawal. Do not send passwords, API keys or full payment-card details.

You may also send a clear withdrawal statement by post to Mohamed Amine SAYAGH, 1 rue Abou Bakker El Wahrani, esc. B, étg. 3, appt. 17, La Villette H M, Casablanca, Morocco, or use any other method permitted by applicable law. There is currently no dedicated online withdrawal form.

Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another lawful method is agreed, without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline. Payment-provider processing time does not extend our deadline to issue the refund.

A refund reverses the relevant purchase and corresponding remaining entitlement. It does not delete translations already stored in WordPress. We will explain the associated subscription or balance adjustment.

3. Stopping subscription renewal

1. Open the LingoWp billing page.
2. Select “Cancel subscription”.
3. Confirm and check the subscription status and paid-through date.

Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Annual subscribers retain the remaining monthly allowance periods through the paid year’s end. If cancellation fails or the page is unavailable, email contact@masayagh.com promptly.

Cancelling a subscription is separate from requesting a refund, withdrawing from a purchase, or requesting deletion of personal data. Deactivating or uninstalling the plugin does not cancel the subscription.

4. Word balances and stored translations

Plan changes take effect on the confirmed next billing date. Annual plans change at the next annual billing date, not a monthly allowance reset.

Unused monthly words expire at the end of their allowance period. Purchased words do not expire, but require paid hosted-service access. They remain on the account after that access ends, for use if paid access resumes.

Cancellation does not erase existing WordPress translations. Uninstalling the plugin through WordPress does erase its local translation data and settings. Keep a WordPress backup if you may need them later.

5. Statutory consumer rights

The commercial policy above is additional to rights concerning withdrawal, non-delivery, defective or non-conforming services, and unauthorized payments. A 14-day offer is not a universal limit on consumer remedies.

Where EU consumer withdrawal rules apply, a service contract generally has a 14-day withdrawal period from its conclusion. Missing required information can extend that period. Starting performance does not automatically remove the right: any exception or proportionate charge requires the conditions laid down by law. These terms do not collect a waiver. Moroccan distance-selling law generally provides seven days to withdraw from a service contract, subject to exceptions, extended to thirty days where required written confirmation is missing. Our first-subscription offer provides fourteen days regardless of that shorter ordinary period. See Law 31-08, Articles 36–38.

We assess statutory requests under the rules applicable to the purchase, not solely according to whether words were used or the payment was a renewal.

Customers may use the following optional form, or another clear statement permitted by law. The customer fields are to be completed by the person exercising withdrawal.
